The Hong Kong data center has been designed to meet “System+ System” full redundancy on electrical infrastructure and “System+1” for critical mechanical infrastructure. The data center meets the needs of today’s power, space and bandwidth-intensive mission-critical applications and systems for multinational corporations.
Highly resilient power system design helps protect Terremark customer equipment in the event of momentary fluctuations (spikes) and total power outages. Multiple chiller units with N+1 redundancy and dedicated generator backup supply cold air to the data center. Inside the data center, a professional security staff maintains and operates an advanced integrated security management system with surveillance cameras, biometric scanners and secured areas for processing of staff, customers and visitors.
Terremark provides comprehensive SLAs for its customers in the Tsuen Wan data center for network availability, latency, packet delivery, AC power availability, and environmental metrics. Terremark data center customers are provided access to a complementary staging area, temporary secure equipment storage room (maximum 7 days of storage is allowed), loading dock and goods lift.
